Hannay Model EPBSR Hose Reels

The combination EPBSR unit, with electric rewind and spring rewind reels mounted on a single frame, is practical and economical when vapor hose length does not exceed 100 feet. Installation is simplified because of the single overall frame. Each reel is supported individually by separate end frames and bearings.

Both hose lines can be rewound simultaneously. As the operator returns the product and vapor hose nozzles to the truck, the spring rewind reel automatically retracts the vapor hose. The spring rewind reel is furnished with a roller assembly to protect the vapor hose during use.

Rewind
Spring rewind with nonsparking bronze pawl and aluminum alloy ratchet wheel and power rewind with chain and sprocket drive powered by electric motor.

Brakes and Locks
Please specify the type of brake or locking device you prefer. If not otherwise specified, the electric rewind reel will be supplied with a pinion brake.

Inlet
On spring rewind reels: 1" female IPT 90 degree steel swivel joint. On electric rewind reel: 90 degree ball bearing steel swivel joint with 1-1/2" female IPT. Straight swivel joints may be specified at no extra cost.

Outlet Risers
On spring rewind reels: 1" ID riser. On electric rewind reel: 1-1/2" ID flanged riser. Specify male or female fitting and thread size and type when ordering.

Optional Roller
A factory-installed, stainless steel roller can be specified, at extra cost, for bottom-wind reels. Rollers may also be purchased as accessory items. Standard operating pressure is 1000psi. All frames are channel. On the spring rewind reel, use of a hose stop is recommended to protect the nozzle from damage when the hose is rewound.
